Apicare - Cruelty free!

Reviewing Apicare "Repair me" handcreme
Lucy at Apicare was kind enough to send me some of their hand creme to review. It’s made in New Zeland, and contains active manuka honey. It’s cruelty free, and smells amazing!! It’s really sweet, almost lemoney, with a hint of honey. It’s a really comforting smell. It did take me a lot of effort not to try eating a bit of it.

Now, the main issue I had was that I don’t have dry hands, but I wanted to do a proper review. So, in stepped my dad. He’s 64, works 3 days a week, and spends a lot of time in the garden. He’s tried loads of hand creams from brands that may or may not rhyme with zimple, glarins, and wasaline! Nothing’s worked, so he was keen to give it a go. I gave him a little drop and he rubbed it in.
“I’ve got new hands!!” That was honestly the first thing he said. He was holding them out in front of them, and I could see his skin looked better! He didn’t need to use it again until this morning, two days after he’d first applied it, and he’d been mowing the lawn and washing his hands and sunbathing during that time! Here’s a picture of his hands after using it (bear in mind he’s nearly in his mid-sixties).

I tried a little, and my hands felt really good afterwards. The smell lasts for ages too, but isn’t sickly so you don’t want it to go away! You can actually feel it working.  If you want a good hand cream, that’s cruelty free and has natural ingredients, and that actually works for more than an hour; I’ve found it!  Visit www.simplymanuka.co.uk.  I have another one I shall review soon so keep checking back.
Have you tried Apicare before? What did you think?
