Folksy Store of the Month - August (I'm moving this from another blog, it was published there in August)
Tea Fairy designs / Y Tylwyth Te is run by Helen Efanwy from Yorkshire, who originates from North Wales; this explains the Welsh influence in her work! She has many shops all over Wales selling her products, but she also makes them in English so don’t worry if you aren’t a Welsh speaker! She's even sold to some celebrities, although I'm not allowed to tell you who they were!!
As well as being a mother and a teacher, she makes cushions, cards, door-hangings, tea cosies, and draft excluders, all personalised and made to order!
These read “love”, “home” and “welcome” in Welsh. The attention to detail on each is brilliant.
